How SquashJudge works
SquashJudge turns published match footage into focused, repeatable decision practice.
1. We identify potential decision moments
Match transcripts and footage are analysed to find likely lets, strokes, no-lets, and video-review moments. Candidate clips are structured around the rally start and the point where a decision is made.
2. You make an independent call
The player pauses before the decision. Choose stroke, let, or no let from the information available, just as you would when learning to referee a live rally.
3. You compare reasoning, not just answers
After a response, the trainer presents the recorded official call and any available explanation from the decision and video review. Your session score helps you spot which categories need more practice.
Limits and corrections
The decision bank is created with automated extraction and may contain imperfect timestamps, incomplete context, or incorrect classifications. Use the “Mark as wrong decision” and “Mark as wrong clip” controls to report a problem. Reports help identify material that needs review; they do not change an official result.
Footage and attribution
SquashJudge embeds publicly available YouTube videos using YouTube’s player. It does not host match videos. Rights in the footage remain with their respective owners.
